RISCO Group is a global leader in advanced security solutions, operating across seven international markets with a 47-year track record of product innovation. Their ecosystem brings together cutting-edge devices, control panels, cloud services, and smart apps to support commercial, industrial, and smart home automation and security within a single, integrated platform. Our work focused on transforming RISCO’s main website into a clear, interactive hub that explains how their complex solutions work and supports users in choosing the right product paths.
The Challenge
RISCO’s product landscape is expansive, offering a multi-dimensional suite of solutions built for very different use cases, ranging from private homes to large-scale facilities. The challenge was not only technical but conceptual as we needed to make a highly complex ecosystem understandable to installers, decision-makers, and end-users alike.
We had to untangle layered product logic, align internal stakeholders across departments, and define user journeys that support informed decisions and fast access to technical documentation. The work required deep familiarity with security industry standards, modular offerings, and how professionals evaluate these technologies.

User Experience
The UX strategy started with mapping the real-world decision-making process for each type of user - from a smart-home owner browsing wireless systems to a commercial partner looking for grade 3 compliance.

We conducted interviews with internal teams to understand how sales, support, and engineering explain RISCO’s offering, and translated that into clear, visual flows. Interactive product cards, videos, and guided selection tools now help users explore features, understand system compatibility, and navigate to installation resources with precision

User Interface
We designed a functional and structured interface that reflects RISCO’s legacy and innovation. Product complexity is supported by a clean layout, subtle motion cues, and modular visuals that adapt across desktop and mobile.
Infographics and illustrations are embedded directly into the navigation and content to reduce reliance on long text, especially for explaining advanced features or system components.
The color system borrows from RISCO’s brand but applies controlled contrast for clarity in complex diagrams and dark-on-light readability across environments.

Motion Design
We used motion to support clarity - not decoration. Subtle animations help users navigate the product ecosystem, understand system flows, and interact with layered content.
We also created videos and animated infographics to explain how RISCO’s products work across commercial, business, and smart-home settings - making complex systems easier to grasp.

Hero Video
We created a central video that visually represents the interconnectedness and functionality of the company’s comprehensive security ecosystem. This video serves as an immersive introduction, highlighting how various devices and solutions integrate to provide seamless security coverage.
Solutions Videos
In addition to the ecosystem overview, we produced seven targeted videos, each focusing on a specific security solution offered by the company. These videos are designed to provide in-depth insights into the unique features, benefits, and applications of each solution.

It simplifies technical exploration, aligns content with user needs, and gives global teams a central platform for showcasing RISCO’s innovation across markets. It’s not a static site - it’s a growing digital environment that we continue to evolve through ongoing design, content, and design optimization.
